Ok... I Give Up!

I would have posted yesterday but I've been having problems with the blog and for some reason I'm not able to upload any photos. I've tried at least ten times now and I still can't do it... so I am officially giving up! :)

So what's new? Let's see, Wednesday Baby Bav and I went to visit my friend Steph and her ever-so-cute daughter Christine. We sat around eating cookies and brownies, and chatting about baby stuff. When I first got there, Christine had left Baby Bav a message on the fridge with her magnetic letters saying "Please come out soon Baby Bav" - very cute! Steph took a photo for me, but because I'm not able to upload any photos right now you'll just have to imagine what it looked like. Even fridges and small children are waiting for Baby Bav to come out these days! Here's a picture of me and Christine.

Yesterday we went to the doctor's office for another weekly visit (one that I was hoping to cancel because there would be no need to measure the belly after Baby Bav was born, but I digress). I gained back the three pounds that I had lost at last week's visit (guess I never really lost them...), my blood pressure was 120/85, the belly measured 39 cms (down a cm since last week - not sure what happened to that cm though... I guess the measurements are subjective given the doctor changes each week), and Baby Bav's heart rate was around 139 bpm.

Even though Baby Bav's official due date is tomorrow, I still had to make an appointment for next Thursday (here's hoping - again - that I get to cancel that appointment). At that point, if I haven't had Baby Bav, I'm pretty sure the doctor will set a date shortly afterwards for me to get induced. It's really sureal to think that within the next week to week and a half that Marvin and I will be parents and we'll be able to actually hold our little baby! Very exciting but something that I can't really imagine yet!

As for today, not much on the go... maybe a nap (or two), some odds and ends around the house, maybe a bit of reading, oh yeah and hopefully some labour pains! :)
