Yes, Yes, Yes... I Am Still Here!

Alright... it's now 8:57am and I've been at work for just under an hour and I've already had six people come up to me to say "Oh, you're still here"! Yes, yes, yes... I didn't have the baby this weekend and I'm still at work and will be until Friday. Don't get me wrong, I love that people notice that I'm here, but I'm not sure I'm prepared to deal with hearing "Oh, you're still here" for the rest of the week! That might just be enough to make me snap! :)

I've also heard from two people "Oh, you've dropped - it will be anytime now"! First off, if I have the baby anytime now, it's probably because my due date is right around the corner. And second, I really don't think I look like I've dropped yet and I definitely don't feel anymore pressure (which supposedly accompanies the baby dropping), but what do I know? Maybe I'm just cranky this morning... maybe some chocolate will help me get over all this.. some medicinal M&Ms perhaps (right Steph?).

The latest tale I'm holding on to these days is that pregnant women who are due around a full moon tend to go into labour during the full moon (our friend Sandra did with her first son). Not so sure if this is true or not (mind you, I'm pretty sure my sister and brother-in-law have said they've seen some pretty strange things at the hospital during full moons), but it can't hurt to hope, can it? Tomorrow is the next full moon, which is only ten days before my due date. I've also heard a twist to this tale in that you have to go through either nine full moons or nine new moons (my source isn't sure which it is) for this to work. I quickly took a look at the calendar and we're good to go. I've already gone through nine new moons and tomorrow will mark the ninth full moon. Here's hoping!
