Only 5 More Sleeps Until Emily!

You may remember back at the beginning of May I introduced you to Baby Bav's new playmate, Emily, the daughter of our good friends, Doug & Anna. Well, this past Saturday, Marvin and I (along with Anna's brother and mother) dropped Doug & Anna off at the airport so they could head off to Shanghai for a week's vacation before meeting up with the rest of the adoption group the following Saturday.

Since arriving in Shanghai, they have done some sight-seeing (including Starbuck's - nice to know some things are universal across the globe...), some sports watching (World Cup games in the wee hours of the morning), and some blogging. If memory serves me correctly, Doug & Anna will spend two days with the group and then will pick up Emily on Monday, July 3rd - that's only 5 days away! We are all so excited for them and can't wait to see pictures of Emily and how she's changed (the picture I posted earlier was taken when she was about 4 months and she'll be about 10 months when they pick her up).
