What a Great Morning...

This morning after our breakfast (plain pancakes with syrup for Maja and chocolate chip pancakes for me - yum!), Maja & I headed out to do some grocery shopping at the No Frills just down the street (gotta cut costs now that I'm not working for money - just hugs & kisses)! After we packed the groceries in the truck and were about to head home, Maja spotted a whole slew of seagulls and pigeons just hanging around on the other side of the parking lot. Well... Maja got soooo excited about this, she was literally bouncing in my arms and giggling while pointing them out to me! So off to the other side of the parking lot we went! We ran after the birds to try to get them to fly away. Such a simple thing, but it was so much fun... just watching Maja run around, with her arms outstretched, "roaring" at the birds and giggling when they flew away warmed my heart. It's because of those type of moments that I'm so grateful to have the opportunity to stay at home with her instead of going back to work. :)

Yesterday we also had a great morning, as Maja & I headed off to Mississauga to visit Steph, Christine & Dash. Everyone had a great time... Christine got to colour, Maja got to play with "new" toys, Dash got to bounce away in his jumper (here's a link to see a video clip of him in action) and Steph & I got to chat and eat homemade brownies! Here are a couple of shots from our visit - Maja doing what she loves to do these days, sitting in a box... Dash, copying Maja, sitting in the box that Steph's new fancy coat came in...

And of course, what would a visit be without a group shot?!? Here we have the gang hanging out on the couch - Christine is very enthusiastic about the picture being taken, Dash had just finished crying because Maja was sitting beside him, and Maja of course was chewing on a toy...
