Welcome Savannah Faith!

This past Friday, I went to visit our friends, Kathy & Terry, and their baby girl, Savannah Faith. Ohhhh what a sweetie little Savannah is! She was born a week ago this past Sunday (so Oct 28) and weighed in at just under 6 pounds. Mom, Dad and Savannah are all doing well. Of course, what would a visit to see a baby be without photos?!? So here are a couple of favourites from the 30+ pictures I took! :)

Here Savannah is snoozing on Kathy's chest after dining for about half an hour. Ahhh such a cozy, milky, wonderous state! :) Then a great shot of Terry kissing his baby girl (she already has him wrapped around her tiny little finger for sure!)...

On Saturday, Marvin & I (and of course Maja) just puttered around the house a bit trying to catch up on the endless list of things to do around here. But then on Sunday, Maja, Marvin & I headed off to the Waterloo area for my neice and youngest nephew's baptism. Anna & Peter did great... just a flicker of a few tears and then they were gone. After the service, we all headed back to Sandra & Mike's place to have a nice lunch, some chit chat and of course some playing with toys! Then later in the afternoon, we dropped Maja off at home with Bakica while we headed off to the Raptors game.

Then today, Maja and I were all about running errands. We went to the mall this morning to look for a snowsuit but were unsuccessful. I was starting to fear that it was too late in the season and that we were going to have to dress poor Maja in multiple layers of sweaters to keep her warm throughout the winter similar to that little kid in "A Christmas Story". But then when we headed out again this afternoon we found one. It's really cute and when Maja tried it on for Marvin when he got home from work, Maja was checking herself in the mirror, smiling and giggling to herself! Then it was a bit dramatic when either Marvin or I tried to take it off her. Tomorrow I'll try to take a picture of her in it for you.

Sorry there aren't any photos of Maja to share this time around, but maybe I'll have some time tomorrow or over the next couple of days.
