The End of An Era...

Today is a sad day as it marks the end of the "Stephanie & Erin Not Working" Era. :( Poor Steph goes back to work tomorrow morning (basically at the crack of dawn) and I'll be starting back at work in the middle of May. Good luck tomorrow Steph - let me know how it goes.

So to mark the day, we all figured it would be most appropriate to have a play date at Steph's house (or Christine's house if you ask Maja). Maja & I headed over there for late morning, had a yummy lunch (good ol' KD mixed with a splash of peas for our veggie serving), peeing in the potty (Christine peed on the potty right after sitting down today -yeah Christine!!!!) and lots of playing nicely together. At the end of the play date, we took a long over due group shot. As usual, coordinating all three kids was pretty much impossible, but entertaining to say the least. Here's the final shot of the kids (I love how Maja has her head resting on Christine's head like she's a bit sad and how excited Dash is to finally have the phone in his hot little hands)...

And when it was finally time to leave and it started to sink in that they weren't going to have the same kind of play dates anymore (weekend play dates are ok, but just not as much fun as weekday ones), Maja and Christine had a moment...

The past year has been such a blast - having play dates, learning new-mom tricks, going to Ikea for lunch, hanging out with my psychic-fraternal-non-related-twin again and enjoying watching our kids grow up and play together. Thanks for everything Steph, it wouldn't have been the same without you!
