Hanging Out, Incognito, Racing Turtles...

Ok... Maja is getting up from her nap so I have to make this quick... I'm sure you don't really care that there won't be much in the way of words, seeing as I think most of you just go straight to the photos anyway!

On Saturday, Maja, Marvin & I headed over to Bakica's place to help her shovel. Ok, who am I kidding... Marvin & I shovelled while Bakica & Maja played with each other inside! :) It's quite funny to watch, when Maja first gets dropped off at Bakica's she gives Bakica a quick hug and then it's off to the toy box in no time flat. She then pulls out all of the books and the toys then works her way through all of them! Here's a shot of Maja playing with the cash register and reading a book at the same time...
On Sunday, we basically hung around the house for the most part. Really, our biggest decision was what to wear that day. After much deliberation, Maja chose her sporty jumpsuit and Puma sneakers that her favourite (ok, her only) Teta gave her. Here's a shot of Maja modelling the outfit in the living room for me...
It turns out that the poor reaction Maja had to lemons back in August last year was just a temporary thing. Here she is munching on a lemon that came with my iced tea the other day (she actually liked it and ate all of it)...

Then, given all the photos that have been taken of her recently, Maja thought she'd try to go out in public in disguise...

The big nose and moustache didn't work so she thought she'd try a new pair of shades...
Then this morning, Maja & I headed out to Ikea (or "key-ya" as per Miss Chatterbox) and met up with Stephanie ("Seffy"), Christine ("Teen") and Dash ("Dash"). As usual, we had a nice yummy affordable lunch and a great time watching the kids interact. Because Dash is getting more and more mobile, he was actually able to join in the fun today as opposed to having to sit in the highchair watching Maja & Christine have fun. Here's a shot of the three of them playing "together" - and I use the term loosely as you can tell...
