Baka Time...

Friday morning, Maja woke up with the urge to shop. So we called Bakica and headed off to Sherway. But of course, given there were going to be plenty of "shee-shee" ladies there, Maja wanted to make sure she had an appropriate outfit to wear. Maja selected her cool flower printed jeans, chocolate brown belt, her beige knitted sweater and topped it all off with her camouflage boots (she's gets her fashion sense from me I guess)! As we strolled through the mall, Maja pointed out all kinds of interesting things. My favourite was a huge eye ball that was in one of the store windows. She was quite taken with it. Here she is trying to poke the eye...
Then this morning, Maja & I headed off to Loblaws to have coffee with Bakica. Here is a shot of Maja lining up at the cafe to buy Bakica her coffee - she doesn't look too sure as to what to do with the $20 she's holding...

And because Maja paid for the coffee, she felt it was only appropriate that she tell Bakica which flavour of coffee should drink. Here she is showing Bakica her selection...

And then on the way back to the elevator, Maja spotted the a bunny sitting on a table and got soooo excited when Bakica picked it up and passed it to her. I love the grin Maja's sporting in this photo...

Yesterday afternoon, Marvin had to do a bit of work from home so to give him some much needed quiet time, Maja and I headed off to the school park just up the street. We had such a great time and I took all kinds of video, but this is one I like the most. Here's Maja sliding down the slide by herself and then looking at me all cute asking to be picked up...
