Maja's a Twin...

Yep, you read it right... Maja is a twin! I just found out today actually. I left Maja at her BFF's house this morning for a couple of hours looking like she usually does and when I went to pick her up she had transformed from Maja to a mini-Christine! :) Here's what I mean - here's Maja... And here's Christine...
Now throughout our high school years, and in particular on our boating vacation up in Georgian Bay way back in 1990 (is that right Steph?), Stephanie and I were constantly told that we look like twins. I never thought our look-a-like-ness would be passed along to our little girls! :) I love that picture of Maja above... I think it's my new favourite picture of her. The pig-tails really make her look like a little girl, don't they?

Anyhow, the reason I had to drop Maja off this morning was because I had to go to a funeral. :( Our friend Sonia's father passed away suddenly this past weekend from a heart attack. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Sonia and her family.

This past Friday, Maja had a nice treat of spending the evening with Grandma (thanks Mom!) and Marvin & I had a nice treat of going on a double date with Sara & Nick (we went to see the movie "Vantage Point" and then out for a bite to eat afterwards - sans kids, well except for the one growing in Sara's belly...). Knowing that the evening was going to be full of fun and adventure, Maja thought it would be best if she prepared her body properly by warming up. Here's a shot of Maja "stretching" before the evening commenced...
Once she was warmed up, Maja wanted to do a bit of salsa dancing with Marvin. Here's she is resting her head on her Daddy's cozy shoulder and just chilling to some tunes...
And of course before we left, Marvin reminded Maja that there were to be no boys or wild parties in the house while we were gone. I love the look of "Yes, Dad... I know, I know..." on Maja's face...
Once we left, it was time for dinner. On the menu was macaroni & cheese and some beans. Here Maja is showing Grandma the little tiny piece of bean that she was munching on...
And finally, after dinner it was time for a nice relaxing bubble bath. I love how full the bath is in this picture (Maja's new bath-thing is to have the water still running while she's having her bath which leads to a very full bathtub - last night the water was up to her chest)...
Then on Saturday, Maja had an early visit from the Easter bunny (aka V&G). Here Maja is modelling the bunny ears and cool shades that they brought for her...
Once the weather gets a bit warmer, I'll post a picture of Maja in the ever-so-cute capris and t-shirt! Thanks again for a great evening guys! Looking forward to the warmer weather so we can have a BBQ. Maja told me to tell you to remind Michael that he needs to be there for that dinner date! :)

That stretching picture is no big deal... I can do that!!

Ahh, to be young and flexible again. Good for Maja for keeping her muscles in such fine form!
