Squishy Hugs and Impromptu Kisses...

Do you know what my two most favourite things in this world are (and no, they're not Marvin & chocolate, although those do come in at a close third and fourth - I'll let you decide which order)?!? Squishy hugs and impromptu kisses from my daughter!

This afternoon Maja & I were playing in the basement reading books, playing with blocks, reading more books, delivering mail, and reading even more books (I think we have a book worm on our hands). And then out of nowhere after we finished reading a book, Maja leaned over and gave me a nice squishy hug! Then later on after telling her that she couldn't touch the pile of gift bags laying in our hallway (I know, what a cruel mommy I am to leave such temptations lying there out in plain sight), Maja came over and gave me an impromptu wet kiss (she even turned my head so she could get my lips)! What a sweetie! :)

I also want to say that my husband is a real sweetie too! Tonight after getting home from work, Marvin bathed Maja, fed her a bottle, put her to bed and made me dinner! See what I mean?!? Now I know where my daughter gets it from!

Because I'm a "river-boat gambler", as Marvin often says when I let Maja run around buck naked in the house just begging for things to get peed on, I snuck into Maja's room after she had fallen asleep just to see how cute she was. And when I saw her sleeping there, I just had to run and get my camera. Here's a shot of our little angel sleeping away (maybe we should invest in a real pillow for her so we can relieve Pedro from his pillow duties)...
