Just Another Day at the Office...

This morning, Maja realized that she hadn't been at the office since April 30 and was feeling a bit anxious about all the work that must have piled up for her since then. So after grabbing a quick bite to eat for breakfast, it was off to the office for us. Maja took this opportunity to not only say a BIG thank you to both Barba Allan & Barba Frank for designing the invitations for her birthday party, but to also say thanks to her sidekicks for covering for her while she has been off gallivanting over the past 2 1/2 months! After a small bit of chit chat, it was back to work for Maja. Here's a shot of her at her desk - please note that she's such a dedicated employee that she's taken the phone off the hook so she won't be interrupted...
Ok so she took the phone of the hook, but forgot to turn off her mouse and received an urgent call from her boss telling her she needed that project "yesterday"...

Then after finishing all her priorities (aka all the work that couldn't wait another 2 1/2 months), Maja packed up her portfolio and was on her way...
Over this past weekend, Maja was helping Daddy work on the transfer station (aka a cool looking shed for the garbage cans and recycling boxes). Here's a shot of Maja searching endlessly for the bit Daddy needed...

On Tuesday, Maja got to see her boyfriend Liam again (with the exception of a brief visit just before Liam's birthday last Thursday), Maja hadn't seen Liam (or Casey - we mom's always get forgotten, don't we?!?) in about 2 full weeks! Here's a shot of Maja & Liam hanging out by the change table in her room (don't worry... Casey & I were both there chaperoning)...

Yesterday morning I had a dentist appointment so I dropped Maja off at Grandma's place for a while. Maja, as usual, had a great time! So much so that she didn't feel the need to nap and ended up being up from 7:30am until 3:00pm! Yikes! Regardless, she was her usual happy-go-lucky self. Here's a shot of Maja walking out front of Grandma's place...
Apparently, Grandma & Grandpa's place isn't safe from having to do chores. Looks like Grandma convinced Maja to do a bit of vacuuming while she was there...
One of Maja's latest tricks is to throw her hands up in the air whenever something goes missing as if to say "Where did it go?". Here's a shot of Maja looking for the turtles she was just playing with (hint, they're under her right leg)...

While Maja was downstairs playing with Grandma, I tried to get a bit of scrapbooking done upstairs. However, Maja was quick to pick up on the fact that I was missing and ventured up the stairs looking for me...
And for her finale, Maja showed Grandma & I the new card trick she learned...
Anyhow, I should get going... I have a very restless Maja here at my feet. Must get going!
