The Dynamic Dumping Duo...
Last Thursday Maja invited her friends, Christine & Dashiell, over for a play date (which meant that I also got to see my friend, Steph). As usual, the three kids played great together... ok so there was a little bit of "Mine" and "Oh no" going on between Maja & Christine while Dash basically just sat there spitting up (his specialty), but that doesn't mean they didn't have a good time! :) But then, things took a turn for the worst when Christine & Maja got a bit peckish... who knew that Cheerios & raisins could make such a mess?!? First the Cheerios were dumped on the coffee table, then smashed into the coffee table, then pushed on to the floor, then walked on, with the occasional one being picked up and eaten (gross!). Then it was time for the raisins. As Stephanie & I tried our best to get all three kids on the couch for a picture, Christine thought she'd show Maja her latest game of dumping raisins everywhere! Here's a shot of Christine in action...
After the play date had ended and Maja went down for a nap, I started to rid the living room of Cheerio dust, ground in raisins and spit up. Then, just as I thought I was done, I spotted a Cheerio peeking out from under a couch cushion. Knowing that Cheerios don't ever travel alone, I pulled off all the cushions to see what other goodies were in hiding. Here's a shot of what I found...
On Saturday, Miss Maja had a very busy schedule. The day began as usual with breakfast, some playtime and then a nap. When Maja woke up from her nap, we quickly packed her up and headed off for a family photo shoot courtesy of Teta (a gift she gave us waaaay back in May 2006 when I was still pregnant and Maja was only known as "Baby Bav"). The photo shoot went well and we should be getting the pictures next week. Then after the photo shoot we headed back home, had some lunch with Bakica, then Maja napped again so she could rest up for the Bocce Ball Tournament we were attending at Doug & Anna's place in Mississauga. Here's a shot of Maja all dressed up for the tournament...

Dear Erin
We are sorry for having created such a mess at your house, if you'd like you and Maja can come over and mess up our house anytime (we have a magical creature called a "dog" that cleans up cheerios and raisins for us).
Love,
Christine and Dashiell
