Maja's Misadventures: Quick Change Maja...

Friday afternoon, Maja & I headed off to Casey & Liam's place for our first ever pool party! The sun was shining, the birds were chirping and Maja was well rested and fed, so off we went! After everyone arrived there were six moms and six babes in total - Casey & Liam sure had their hands (and house) full. There was yummy food, great company, a swimming pool, a sand/water table, a kid's picnic table, endless amounts of toys and loot bags for all the kids (pail complete with shovels and a beach ball)! All in all we had a great time - thanks a bunch to both Casey & Liam for their hospitality!

Now, you may be wondering what today's blog title has to do with the update so far... we'll here's the connection. When Maja heard she wasn't going to be the one and only gal at the party for a change (Emelia, who is a couple months younger than Maja, was crashing the party...), Maja told me she wanted to make a statement upon arrival. So Maja chose her pink & black zebra print shorts with her black "Daddy's Girl" t-shirt for the occasion (Outfit #1). She looked like quite the little rocker-chick, I must say. Now unfortunately, I wasn't able to get a picture of her in that outfit before she peed through it! :( Luckily I had a second outfit for her to wear. Here is a shot of Maja in Outfit #2 hanging by the sand/water table...

Then Maja got a bit carried away with the water side of the table, so I had to remove her t-shirt. Outfit #3...

Then Maja just couldn't control hersef and completely soaked her pants with all her splashing so I had to remove the pants. Outfit #4...

Then Maja decided that it was time to just change into her swimsuit to make things easier. Outfit #5...

After all the water fun was over & done with, Liam was nice enough to lend Maja one of his jumpers which was dry. Unfortunately, I didn't get a close up of Maja in it, but rest assured Outfit #6 made an appearance! What a chick... six outfits in the span of 3 hours!

Anyhow, here is a shot of Liam climbing all over his skateboard/truck/car thingy (I love how he really can't see from under his hat)...

Ok, so six outfits in three hours is pretty impressive. But how about five hairstyles in five minutes? Well, that's exactly what happened this afternoon (of course with the help of Teta & I - we only get into trouble when left alone with Maja)! Here are some shots of the different "do"s!
