Rain, Rain, Go Away...
Although it's been nice to have a break from the humidity over the past couple of days, there has definitely been a lot of rain (to be honest though, I really don't mind - I find it cozy). Saturday morning between rain bouts, Maja & I headed out to Grandma's place for a little visit. We ate apples, squished ants, played with toys and blew bubbles. Here's a shot of Grandma blowing a bubble right into Maja's hand, much to her delight...
One of Maja's newest hobbies is to sort things. She loves to sort her gift cards, stickers, her "Little People" family and now poker chips. She literally spent about 45 minutes yesterday afternoon stuck in front of the couch moving the coloured chips from container to container and then sorted them by colour. Here's a shot of Maja in mid-sort...
Then after mass we (Daddy, Marvin, Bakica & I) went to a local restaurant for some good ol' fashioned breakfast (no we didn't eat two breakfasts... only Maja had breakfast before church). As we waited for breakfast to arrive, Maja gave her gift to Daddy (which was more a gift for herself, but that's ok - great idea Bakica!!!) of a tool set complete with tool belt and cool tools. Here's a shot of Maja saying "wooooow" when Daddy showed her the saw...So to all the father's out there (especially to Grandpa who is missed today as he's still in New Zealand), Maja & I would like to wish you all a very
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!
Thanks for everything you have done for all of us, the things you continue to do and of course for the things that we aren't even aware that you do for us! We love you!And because it's so cute, here's a video of Crazy Teta Linda teasing Maja last night at dinner with a piece of garlic bread...
