Welcome Home Teta!
Yesterday afternoon, Teta Linda and Uncle Ryan returned (most likely all tanned...) from their cruise around the Carribean and Maja would like to say "Welcome Home Guys"! Maja was a bit worried early last week when she heard about a couple that went overboard off their cruise ship and were lost at sea for four hours... but luckily it wasn't Teta Linda and Uncle Ryan! Anyhow, Maja is now counting down the sleeps until she gets to see her Teta again (only 5 more sleeps)...
The past couple of days have been pretty routine... spending time lounging around home, going for the occasional walk when the weather is nice and trying out new foods. Maja apparently loves bananas and is "alright" with broccoli. She has one more day of broccoli and then we start on carrots! Ahhh, the world is full of yummy yummy veggies! :)
Last night, Maja got to visit her friend Emily (and her parents, Doug & Anna) and chew on some of her toys. Doug & Anna invited us over for a nice dinner and some good ol' fashioned catching up with them and Anna's brother, Bruno. It was a nice evening out for all of us - thanks guys! This morning, Maja went to church for Palm Sunday and this afternoon/evening, Maja will be attending her second Raptors game (her last during the regular season, but who knows if she'll make an appearance during the playoffs...)!
Anyhow, here are some pictures from the past couple of days. Here Maja is inspecting her snazzy Robeez shoes... apparently it was too hard to stay seated and grab the shoes...
Here is a shot of Bakica and Maja playing in the kitchen on Friday afternoon. Believe it or not, the balloon that Bakica is holding was actually a balloon poodle before Maja got a hold of it...
