Excitement in Etobicoke!

Well today has been a very exciting day here in Etobicoke! Our day started with an email from Stephanie & Ben with a photo of their son, Dashiell Carter! As I promised yesterday, here is a photo of little Dash (what a cutie!!!). Congrats again to Stephanie, Ben, big sister Christine and Molly the Dog!
Then after we checked our email, Maja and I went out to see all the excitement that was taking place just one house down from ours. From the storm last night (be it from the wind or the ice, we're not sure), a tree across the street from us split and fell across our road. It looks like if our neighbours had parked their cars any further down their driveway they would have been hit by the tree! Here is a shot of the tree and the cop car that was stationed there to prevent traffic from turning down our street (wouldn't the huge tree laying across the entire road have done that on it's own?!?)...
Then this afternoon, Maja and I went to visit our friends Casey & Liam. Casey was in my Moms & Babes class a while back and since then, she and Liam have been in our Salsa Babies classes (Liam's got quite the moves I might add). :) Here is a shot of Maja and Liam hanging out in Liam's basement. It looks like Maja is telling Liam that she caught a fish "this big" and Liam is just laughing at her knowing that she's lying (like she could fish... she doesn't even know she has thumbs yet)...
And here's a picture of Maja and Liam wrestling... or maybe they're reaching out for each other thinking "Oh my gosh, another little person! Are you for real? Let me touch you to make sure!"... or maybe they're about to show off the Salsa moves they learned in class this week... or now that I think of it, I think they're about to hug given their was a fireplace burning and some soft music playing in the background - right Casey?...
Anyhow, Maja is taking a nap right now so I will make this a quick blog so I can catch the end of Oprah!
