Sun, Glorious Sun!

What a beautiful day it is outside today! There's nothing quite like seeing the sun shining outside and having warmer weather to brighten up a winter! :) It just makes me feel like singing - ok, maybe it's the "Maja-CD" that Sara & Nick got Maja for Christmas that's playing in the background right now, but it could be the weather too! :)

I can't believe how much Maja has grown up in the past couple of weeks! She has really turned into a little girl instead of being a baby. She is still rolling from her back to her front (even in the middle of the night occasionally now that she's started to fall asleep on her side... I think she rolls over while she's asleep - ok more like she tips over while she's asleep - and then gets startled awake because she's on her tummy), she has started to roll from her front to her back, and she is getting better and better at sitting up on her own! She's also a lot more interactive, expressive and able to entertain herself for longer (45 minutes or so sometimes in the exersaucer). I love it!

Yesterday, Maja and I went for a nice walk with Grandma while she was here. Of course there was a pit-stop at Starbucks to refuel... :) We loved being able to get back outside. Then this morning, Maja and I went to church for Ash Wednesday (the beginning of Lent) and met up with Bakica. Afterwards, Maja and I went for a nice long walk outside... we were outside for almost two hours in total! Again, I feel great having been outside! Anyhow, here are a couple of pictures for you to enjoy!

On Saturday, Teta Linda took a picture of Maja hanging out in the laundry basket. As you can see, Maja wasn't too impressed when Teta told her that she'd have to do the laundry when she was done playing...
This is a shot of Maja from a couple of minutes ago in her exersaucer. No, that's not a bruise on her forehead, it's ashes from church...
And here Maja is "singing" into her elephant friend (aka microphone). It looks like she's going to follow in Daddy's footsteps (loves karoke and DJing on the side)!
