Lilypie 2nd Birthday Ticker

It's A Holly, Jolly Christmas, It's the Best Time of the Year...

This morning, Maja woke up and said "Sretan Božić, želi vam Maja, tata i mama. Ja vas volim puno!", which in English means "Merry Christmas, love from Maja, Daddy and Mommy. I love you all very much!". Ok so she's a day early, but cut the kid a break! :) A couple of weeks ago, Maja had a photoshoot as an elf and we thought maybe you'd enjoy some of the outtakes (and a couple of good ones too)!

Here I am prepping Maja as to what it is she needs to do (judging by the look on her face she's thinking "Ok, ok, ok Mom... I know what I'm doing - What do you think I am? A baby?")...
Here she is grinning from ear to ear showing off those cute little chubby cheeks of hers...
"Hey... Have a Great Christmas, You Cool Cat!"...
Here was our favourite one...
As all models do... Maja decided she had had enough and wanted to take a break... but the Bumbo chair just wouldn't let her go...

Maja with her "Who You Calling an Elf?" look...
And things went horribly wrong when we finally told Maja that Santa wasn't real...
As most of you know, yesterday (Saturday) Maja turned 4 months old! Marvin and I can't believe that she's so old already! :) To celebrate, Maja went to the doctor's on Friday for a quick check up and her 4 month vaccinations (not really the way I'd like to celebrate my birthday, but it was her choice...). Maja weighed in at a whopping 16 pounds! Just a month ago she was 4 ounces shy of 14 pounds! That's over 2 pounds in a month! :) She also measured a "leggy" 26 inches - no wonder she's already fitting into some 6 month clothes! We're so blessed to have a healthy and wonderful daughter! Unfortunately though, as a result of the vaccinations, Maja got a fever Friday night and again on Saturday morning... thank goodness for Childrens' Tylenol! We also got the go-ahead from the doctor to start her on some rice cereal in hopes that would make her sleep a little more soundly at night... still waking up every hour and a half or two hours throughout the night... same story for the past two weeks unfortunately. Maybe later today we'll try the cereal - but really, who can sleep the night before Christmas???
