Feeling a Bit Under the Nice Weather...

Don't you just hate it when you get a summer cold? Well, I have to say more than that, I hate my it when daughter gets a spring cold like she has now. :( After recovering from her high fever near the end of last week, Maja was back to her usual self until Sunday night when she started coughing a bit. Then yesterday and today her cough has been joined by a runny nose and a bit of crankiness. Doesn't that suck?!? Oh well, I thought the best way to teach the spring cold a lesson was to blast it with some sunshine mixed with a warm wind and humidity! :) Here are a couple of pictures of Maja and I "attacking" the cold this afternoon in the backyard.

We have recently learned that Maja doesn't like to touch grass with her barefeet. When I try to stand her up on the grass barefoot she lifts up her legs until they are parallel with the ground and then starts to cry! Very amusing for us! Here Maja has just removed her sun hat (not a great thing given how sunny it is right now), is trying to not touch the grass that surrounds her and is a bit confused by the flip flops that are on her feet...

Anyhow, we have to get going... we're about 1/2 an hour away from our swimming lesson!
